Today we finally closed on our house!!! We are hopeing to move into it before Turkey day but we shall see. The contractor has to do the work before we can move into it.
Ella is 14 months today. The kids were told about the house on Thursday. We blindfolded them and brought them into their rooms. When we let them see where they were they both responded the same way, "this isn't our room". I told Malynda, "Do you remember where we would move if we ever did it again?" and she then said, "a Hoooooouuuuussseee!!!" She tore through that place with Blake and Ella was following them all over. It was pretty fun to see their faces.

Hello, fellow Lobdells! Congrats on your new home. Your blog turned up in a Google Alert I have set up for anything with "Lobdell" in it (news and blogs).
I'm a Lobdell to your Northwest, in Spokane, Washington. I thought I'd say hello. I don't have a blog, but we have our own family photo website I could refer you to (don't want to put it in a public comment, though - perhaps you can contact me through my profile on this post if you wish). We also have three kids - all boys. I suppose we're doing our part to carry on the Lobdell name.
Best wishes.
Eric in Spokane
