My Other PG family

Mama Jane let us hang out at her house all through highschool.
We had so much fun with the parties that they threw even though we ate pizza a lot and watched mystery science theater.
You would always get good laugh and a fun nickname. That is when you knew you were welcome.
Malessa is one of my best friends that Malynda is named after.

Happy Birthday

Grandma Edde made Malynda's baptism dress. She did the work on the bodess by hand and the detail on the skirt on her cool sewing machine.
Blake is showing off his new shirt that Grandma gave to him. He said that he was Mr. GQ
Ella is sporting her new outfit from Grandma Edde. She stood still for about 1/2 a sec. for the shot.
Malynda is talking to Grandma Edde and twirling around the room.

Malynda is showing us her skirt with all the detail work. We are lucky to have Grandma Edde!!!

Church Activity

Our Friend is expecting June 2. We had a suprise party for her.

ONe of the girls in our branch is working on her faith in god award. She planned an acitivity for teh kids to plant flowers and have an easter egg hunt at the church. They did a great job.

Happy Mother's Day

God took the fragrance of a flower,The majesty of a tree,The gentleness of morning dew,The calm of a quiet sea,The beauty of a twilight hour,The soul of a starry nightThe laughter of the rippling brook,The grace of a bird in flight,Then God fashioned from these thingsA creation like no other,And when His Masterpiece was through,He called it simply... MOTHER! This is Keith's grandmother who gave us a scare. She is doing so much better now and RoRO (as the kids say)
Keith and the kids gave me this necklace along with a lot of cards. They said that each kid is a circle and Keith is the circle that surrounds the last one.

The kids I babysit wanted to make a special dinner for their mother. SHe had to work on Mother's Day so we made her this dinner since she worked a lot the day before and was excited. The oldest made a menu and was her waitor. The middle child was the Maitr'e De, and the youngest told her that she was sitting with him. It was a lot of fun and she was surprised.

Fishing and the Derby

Malynda tied for biggest fish in her age group.

Here fishy fishy fishy.
Keith took the kids fishing on mother's day. Blake caught this one and Keith caught 2 more.

Relief Society Celebration

On Saturday I went with my mother-in-law and some other ladies in our branch to the RS celebration in Vermont. It was raining but it was a nice drive (mainly becuase I didn't have to drive). We had nice conversations but ended up at the wrong church. It is different out here when you go to the wrong church becuase instead of going to the next block or down the street, you have to go about 30 minutes to an hour. We made it to the church right after the prayer. THe meeting was so uplifting. The different branches and wards (located in Maine, VT, and NY) sang hymns to different melodies. At the end everyone sang The SPirit of God to the music of Sisters in zion. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever.
At church on Sunday, Blake gave his testimony for the first time. I asked Malynda if she wanted to go up but she wanted to wait until she was 8 (June 4), but Blake said yes. He wanted to know what he should say and I told him that he should say what he liked about church. He said his after I bore mine. He looked at me with his mouth open, very nervous. I helped him start and then told him to say what he liked about church. He talked about primary and playing with his friends there. It was really nice. I am very proud of him for getting up. Keith gave a really nice testimony about Baptism and Malynda making the decision to get baptized.
